We host a variety of roundtables and training workshops on topical governance issues and board effectiveness, and are frequently invited to speak at external events. So get out your diaries and read on to find out what’s coming up this March…
For more information on any of our events or speakers, please contact Lauren.
ICSA — Board Dynamics Conference: 1st March
ICSA’s Board Dynamics Conference explores how the ethical compass and culture of every organisation starts with the board. From its composition to its effectiveness in action, the board sets the tone for how decisions are made and how the inherent values of everyone within the organisation are borne out through everyday behaviours. Despite this critical relationship, building and governing a balanced and effective board is not easy. The interpersonal dynamics of board members can be complex, and often boil down to trust — trust that empowers the leadership team to set and achieve the organisation’s strategy, work towards its mission, and realise its full potential.
Join us at our stand to discuss how high-quality, insightful board packs can unlock and support these healthy dynamics in the boardroom.
AGBIS — AGM & Conference 2019: 13th March
The AGBIS Annual Conference offers governors a chance to meet with governors from other schools and hear a range of leading speakers.
We’ll be on site the entire day to discuss how we’ve helped schools of all sizes get their reporting to the next level. Come by our stand to learn more, or email Roland if you’d like to arrange a meeting.
UK Finance — Retail Banking Conference: 13th March
UK Finance’s Retail Banking Conference will explore the developing political and economic landscape of personal finance in 2019, a matter of weeks ahead of the UK’s formal exit from the European Union. There will be talks from a number of leading economists, as well as Charles Randell, the chair of the Financial Conduct Authority, on the regulatory priorities for the sector, as well as a session by the City of London Police Commissioner Ian Dyson on financial crime and its prevalence in the current climate.
Visit us in the networking area to find out how financial institutions large and small have used our platform to transform their reporting, or get in touch with Gianluca to book a meeting.
SMR — A Missed Opportunity?: 21st March
Many firms think reporting under the Senior Managers Regime is “over and done with”, and now treat it as a box-ticking exercise. This is a mistake — and one that could leave your organisation exposed. What’s more, this is also a missed opportunity. Done correctly, SMR not only ensures compliant papers, but transforms decision-making processes and enables better decisions across the whole organisation.
So how do you make the most of SMR? How do you scale and embed its reporting requirements outside the boardroom? Join our breakfast roundtables to find out how leading financial services firms have used SMR to change the way they do business.
AoC — Governance Summit 2019: 28th March
The annual AoC Governance Conference will provide valuable insight and clarity on the key challenges facing governors and colleges including the new education inspection framework and the incoming insolvency regime. Learn, share and discuss your common challenges and opportunities and leave with ideas to improve the effectiveness of governance and board performance in your college.
Visit our stand to learn how colleges have taken their governance one step further with our platform, or contact Roland to organise a meeting.
