The FRC has launched a public consultation on their proposed revision to the Corporate Governance Code. The proposed changes of the 2023 review focus on increasing quality of reporting, encouraging companies to clearly explain the impact of driving growth and performance in their strategies, whilst moving away from a “tick box” system.

In this lunchtime webinar, we interviewed David Styles, Director of Corporate Governance and Stewardship at the FRC, on what directors need to know about the new changes. In David's words: “the substantial changes to the code will be in the parts that don't get talked about.”

During the live session, we covered:

  • A high-level view of the proposed changes that will impact directors.
  • Which changes directors should be most aware of.
  • A Q&A session with David Styles.
