FRC Corporate Governance Roundtable: 11th May
Pippa Begg, our Co-CEO, and Dineshi Ramesh, one of our Advisory Partners, will participate in the FRC’s Corporate Governance Roundtable on corporate governance reform and board effectiveness. The roundtable follows the FRC’s recent announcement to conduct a review of the UK Corporate Governance Code, and gives participants the opportunity to consider whether there is more the CGC could do to establish best practice in the boardroom.
For more information on the roundtable, do contact us.
Association of Foreign Banks Operational Risk Seminar: 17th May
Niamh Corbett, one of our Advisory Partners, will address the AFB’s operational risk seminar on the challenges posed to those who produce board information in light of the Senior Managers Regime. Niamh is our in-house expert on SMR; you can access her advice on how to be successful under SME here.
To find out more about the AFB’s seminar, please get in touch.
Think Tank Dinner: 24th May
We launched our Think Tank – The Board is Dead. Long Live the Board – three years ago to challenge the fundamentals and stimulate fresh thinking around how boards operate. We have so far convened over 600 chairmen, CEOs and non-execs to share their thoughts on the question: If you could rip up the rule book, what would good governance look like?
Because of the popularity of our Think Tank events spaces are extremely limited. However, if you would like to contribute to the debate, please contact us to request an invitation.
Best Practice Board Packs Uncovered: 26th May
Our Best Practice Board Packs Uncovered breakfasts bring together chairmen, board directors, company secretaries and governance professionals to explore current reporting trends and challenges. We also showcase a library of best practice templates and board reporting solutions to indicate what market leading boards are doing.
If you would like to request an invitation to one of our Best Practice Board Packs Uncovered sessions contact us.
