What will the event cover?

The UK Government is expected to publish a consultation shortly, setting out its plans to streamline and simplify non-financial reporting, remuneration reporting, corporate governance reporting, and the financial reporting framework. These proposals build on legislation already in force that save UK businesses around £240m per year in reporting costs — and free up considerable time for governance teams.

Join Board Intelligence and the Department for Business and Trade for an evening event where you'll get a rare opportunity to influence what these 'Modernising Corporate Reporting' reforms look like in practice. You'll:

  • Hear directly from DBT on their plans and priorities for the programme.
  • Input into the consultation — share your views and experiences to help shape reform.
  • Connect with peers navigating the same challenges.
Hosted by senior officials from DBT - panel to be confirmed soon
