About the author

Suzi Beese was a founding member of Board Intelligence and currently serves as Chief Revenue Officer. She is a frequent commentator and speaker on board, governance, and leadership issues.

Suzi previously led Board Intelligence's advisory team. She worked with CEOs, executive committees, and boards across the FTSE 100, FTSE 250, and Fortune 500 to revamp their board and management reports, and was commissioned by the National Audit Office to review the board packs of every government department.

She has also led Board Intelligence's Director Community, developing deep relationships with a wide range of board members. While in this role, she led projects to champion female leaders across the FTSE 100 and compile stories of social mobility from chairs, CEOs, and CFOs who were the first in their family to go to university.

Suzi joined Board Intelligence in 2011, after a career in financial services, working for JP Morgan after graduating from Cambridge University with an MA in Modern Languages.

Suzi is also a board member at the National Deaf Children's Society, chairs their Governance Committee and is a member of the International Committee.
