ICSA — Listed Companies Conference: 13th April
Research suggests that since the financial crisis, public trust in big business has remained worryingly low. Many regulators and politicians believe that higher levels of trust can be fostered by improving standards of corporate governance within companies.
ICSA’s Listed Companies Conference digs deeper into some of the main issues for company secretaries and governance professionals for the coming year and beyond. Topics include executive pay and incentives, corporate culture and both current and future reporting and disclosure requirements.
Join us on the day to discuss how we can help your organisation achieve better governance, or email Lawrence to book a meeting.
The Governance Grand Tour — Manchester: 19th April
Board Intelligence and our partners welcome you to this unique (and free) one-day event. The sessions will give you practical, hands-on training to help you and your organisation achieve a step change in the quality of your governance.
Covering everything from strategies to write short, focussed reports that get to the heart of what matters to your board to how leading, best practice, company secretary teams are streamlining their operations with technology. You will come away from the sessions ready to implement change that transforms the quality of decision making in the boardroom.
ICSA — Guernsey & Jersey Conferences: 25th–26th April
As regulation of financial services continues to tighten and political uncertainty in the UK and Europe creates greater instability in the market, company secretaries and governance professionals in the Channel Islands have an opportunity to take the wheel and be at the forefront of thinking, innovation and technology in governance, risk and compliance.
ICSA’s Guernsey and Jersey conferences takes on the theme ‘Managing Risk, Leading Change’ and reflects the bold role that Guernsey can play in the governance environment. Delegates will benefit from expert input on topics including: stakeholder engagement, GDPR, the common reporting standard and personal development.
Join us on the day to discuss how we’re already helping dozens of Channel Islands-based organisations be more efficient, or email Nasri to book a meeting.
Reimagining Board Reporting: 27th April
Most companies automate at least one step of their board reporting by using a board portal to compile and distribute packs. But the complete reporting process doesn’t begin or stop here, and neither should its digitalisation.
Join our Reimagining Board Reporting breakfast to learn how leading Company Secretary teams implement technology to streamline operations from agenda planning to collating papers, hear new research on the challenges and costs associated with board reporting and how you could save £50,000—£500,000 by implementing some simple but material changes.
Places are limited to 10 attendees per session so please be sure to register early.
