Reimagining Board Reporting: 22nd June
Do you know how much time and money your organisation spends on board papers? And is the investment you’re making driving tangible results in the boardroom?
The just-released Board Reporting Calculator, developed by Board Intelligence in partnership with ICSA, highlights the hidden costs of your process — but how do you respond to these findings?
Join our Reimagining Board Reporting breakfast roundtable to discuss with your peers how leading Company Secretary teams are looking beyond board portals to transform the efficiency and effectiveness of board reporting.
Places are limited to 10 attendees per session so please be sure to register early.
NDPB Lawyers’ Group — Summer Training Conference (Birmingham) : 25th June
The NDPB Lawyers’ Group aims to enable in-house lawyers working within Non-Departmental Public Bodies (NDPBs) to develop networks, share information and expertise, and achieve communal benefits, for example, through the provision of joint training. The group provides significant networking and information sharing opportunities for NDPB legal teams, which are traditionally small and often outside centrally funded networks such as the Government Legal Service.
We’ll be speaking at the event on “Aiding decision making: reporting to Boards in the public sector”. Attendance is for members only, so do email the NDPB Lawyers’ Group if you’re an in-house public sector lawyer and wish to join.
Manchester Think Tank Dinner: 26th June
We launched our Think Tank — The Board is Dead. Long Live the Board — to challenge the fundamentals and stimulate fresh thinking around how boards operate. We have so far convened over 600 chairmen, CEOs and non-execs to share their thoughts on the question: “If you could rip up the rule book, what would good governance look like?”
We’re now hosting our Think Tank dinners in Manchester, in addition to London. If you’re based in the area and would like to contribute to the debate, please contact us to request an invitation.
