About the author
Chris Hodge is an independent advisor on governance and stewardship, who writes and speaks regularly on corporate governance topics. He has worked with the Institute of Directors (UK), Nestor Advisors, the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN), and the Hawkamah Institute among others.
For ten years until 2014 Chris was Director of Corporate Governance at the UK’s Financial Reporting Council. He was responsible for developing and promoting the UK Corporate Governance Code, and for introducing the first national stewardship code in 2010. He is a former chair of the European Corporate Governance Codes Network and the Global Stewardship Codes Network and a former advisor to the Chartered Governance Institute.
