Chris Taylor has extensive experience in company secretarial roles across various sectors. He has been Group Company Secretary at Tesco since April 2025 and previously served as Company Secretary at Young & Co Brewery plc from 2021 to 2025.

At Young's, Chris's responsibilities included corporate M&A, sustainability, and risk management within a hospitality context. Prior to this, he held the Group Company Secretary role at Sky for over 15 years, contributing to significant acquisitions and governance practices. Chris has also gained diverse experience at organisations such as Orange and Diageo in various capacities, including Assistant and Deputy Company Secretary.

He has a Business Sustainability Management certification from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Commerce from Edinburgh Napier University.
