About the author

Mark Goyder is an author, governance expert, and public speaker who is known for his work in the fields of corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, stewardship, and sustainability.

He is an award-winning speaker, writer and broadcaster with over 15 years’ experience as a manager in manufacturing businesses. He is the founder of Tomorrow’s Company, a business think tank which he led until 2017. Tomorrow’s Company has worked with business leaders, investors, policymakers, and partners to inspire and enable business to be a force for good in society.

Mark has written four books and is an in-demand public speaker who has given speeches at major international conferences. His articles have appeared in numerous publications including the Wall Street Journal and the Financial Times. He has also appeared before several Select Committees at the House of Commons. 

Mark has held advisory roles working with the Board Intelligence Think Tank in addition to the leadership teams of Walgreens Boots Alliance, British Airways, British Telecommunications, Camelot and Novo Nordisk.  He is currently Deputy Chair of a Public Service Reform Commission working for the Mayor of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. In 2019 he awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Civil Law by the University of East Anglia.
