About the author

Niamh Corbett joined Board Intelligence in 2016 to co-lead the consulting team. Since then, has held several commercial roles across the business, including building the Financial Services Practice and launching the US business. Today, she serves Global Financial Services Lead and Head of Americas, spearheading the growth of the business in these areas and working closely with complex, international clients to supercharge the effectiveness of their boards, committees, and leadership teams.

Niamh began her career in financial PR with Brunswick before moving into investment banking, spending several years at Morgan Stanley advising FTSE boards and management teams on their UK capital market interactions. 

Niamh speaks and writes regularly on topics related to board effectiveness, corporate governance, and financial regulation. She has co-authored a fortnightly column in the Financial Times and has led research projects with respected organisations like the National Association of Corporate Directors.

She has a degree in Economics from the University of Nottingham.
