Pippa Begg is CEO of Board Intelligence, the firm she co-founded with Jennifer Sundberg in 2009. Today, Board Intelligence is Europe's largest board technology and advisory firm, trusted by more than 80,000 leaders across the FTSE 100, Fortune 500, and OMX 30. Its suite of AI-powered software tools and services supercharge board effectiveness, improving the efficiency of board processes and enhancing board and director impact.
Pippa writes and speaks frequently on corporate governance, board effectiveness, leadership, and entrepeneurialism and has played a vocal role in shaping board best practice internationally. Known as 'the board whisperer', her work has been featured in the Financial Times, the Sunday Times, Governance Intelligence, and Management Today. She is a guest lecturer at Henley Business School and the co-author of the book Collective Intelligence: How to build a business that’s smarter than you, which was a Financial Times 'top pick' and shortlisted for British Business Book of the Year. She served on the Institute of Directors' 2025 Commission and has won numerous awards including EY Entrepreneur of the Year (London & South East). In 2025, she was named on Management Today’s ‘Women in Leadership Power List’.
Pippa started her career in financial services, working for HM Treasury and leading global investment manager Russell Investments after graduating from Cambridge University with an MA in Natural Sciences.
Mother to three young children, Pippa is passionate about lighting a fire in others to aim high.
